Starting life in 1874, Aston Villa Football Club – nicknamed the Villains or more commonly Villa – are currently managed by Frenchman Gerrard Houllier after the surprise departure of Martin O’Neil ahead of this season. They play their home games at Villa Park in Birmingham’s Aston area.
