Starting life in 1888, Celtic Football Club were founded to provide a spectacle and community team for the east end of Glasgow and it’s large Irish immigrant population. The team – known as the Bhoys – have former captain Neil Lennon at the helm and the board is chaired by former Home Secretary John Reid. They play their home games at Celtic Park or as it’s known, Parkhead.

Glasgow’s eastenders were 4/6 to win the Scottish Premier League at the start of this season.
